1977 insanity. Random find from a 1977 issue of Skateboarder Magazine. I was skateboarding back then and this is futuristic shit for the time. Especially back east. "arriving at the Gaithersburg, Maryland park, first stop on Skateboarder's first of many proposed East Coast trips, we had our eyes thoroughly blasted out of our heads, as a totally unknown WILSON FAIR proceeded to consistently jump out of one bowl and into another (over more people each time) until on his last run he went so fast, and so far, that his momentum carried him into, and over, the park's chain link fence, and down into a rocky ditch (10 FEET BELOW PARK LEVEL). Wilson was one of the best kids we saw on our trip--easily comparable to most hot Californians. Photos: Bolster @marcemond @wbolster
