Sk8boardingSaves, an Instagram feed since 2012, is all about the creativity of skateboarding's past, present and future.

And while we may not be able to stop the jock-ification of skateboarding, together we can totally ignore it.

Creator Bernie O'Dowd has been skating non-stop since the seventies. Originally from New Jersey he came up when vert was king. Bernie competed as an amateur and pro until 1991. When street took over and a recession hit he decided to go back to school for Art Direction. He's worked on world famous brands creating everything from crappy little banner ads to Super Bowl commercials.

Currently living in Los Angeles he continues to skate and create. And destroy. And then create again.
